The final climb of the Etape du Tour 2015 made famous in the 2012 Tour when Chris Froome attacked & briefly dropped his team mate Bradley Wiggins.
This is a fairly easy climb done on its own that has two parts separated with a brief period of recovery. The ride actually starts at the top of the Lacets de Montvernier & descends the road that the actual Etape du Tour will climb. Its also the same stretch of road that will feature in the final of stage 18. Its probably one of the best days of the year to ride this climb with autumn colours & fresh snow towards the ski resorts at the top.
